Meet the Chef

I have been cooking for the past 20 years, but my passion for cooking began 4 years ago when I was able to be a stay at home mom and I began taking my cooking more seriously. My family and I currently live in Belgium but we are from Florida. I am Puerto Rican and my husband is Mexican, therefore, my cooking incorporates a little of both worlds. We have five children who very much enjoy eating and critiquing my food! They are my true judges of what goes on the menu. As a Puertorican I love hosting and feeding others and so this is how my business took form. 

 

Catering by Elizabeth began when I started sharing my grandmother's recipe of empanadas with my husband's coworkers. Then my teens wanted me to share with their classmates. Soon orders started coming in for empanadas. Then I was asked about making lunches. Then if I could cater. and so here we are today! I offer catering services for 10 to 200 people. I also provide lunches once per week to my local community.

Additionally, I am looking to expand my gift of cooking with others by offering classes and cooking parties where I invite you and your friends into my home for a full course meal paired with fine wine.
